One Piece of Advice
“It’s OK to start small when it comes to investing in your future. Making the right decisions today can lead to big gains in the future—it’s all about having the right strategy.”
Why I Pursued a Career in Financial Planning
Erin’s interest in finance began at the young age of 15. Saving and budgeting with her small restaurant server income became one of her ideas of fun, and this eventually led her to pursue a career in financial planning. She understands firsthand what it feels like to be a beginner when it comes to wealth management, and her experience and empathy make it much easier for our clients to start their journey toward a more secure and rewarding future.
My Career & Credentials
While she was in school, Erin interned at a bank, a financial advising firm, and a financial institute that focused on teaching others about faith-based financial principles. These three jobs gave her a lot of exposure and prepared her well for her new role in Client Service. They also affirmed that she has a true passion for working in finance and serving others. She is currently studying for the Series licensing exams and plans to pursue the Certified Financial Planner certification to better serve the Cadent team and our clients.
Life Away from the Office
Erin is originally from Manhattan, IL, a suburb located about an hour outside of Chicago. She and her two older siblings are now based in Dallas, and she loves exploring the city and surrounding areas, trying new restaurants, and immersing herself in the Texas lifestyle. While attending Indiana Wesleyan, she was a pole vaulter on the track team, and while she doesn’t have to go to practice or compete in meets anymore, health and fitness continue to be a priority for her.
